A LITTLE ABOUT TAMARA...
As a Jamaican-American realtor, she is known for educating her clients about the buying or selling process and for her unmatched devotion to them and their dreams. Growing up in the real estate business and being raised by a single mother with extensive knowledge in mortgages loans, real estate, and building financial wealth is what really steered her in this direction, although not right away.
Before becoming a full time home matchmaker, Tamara graduated high school at the age of 16 with a veterinary technician license and worked as such for several years following. Though caring for animals, especially dogs, was her first love. Real estate became her new path once she realized the value and pride in owning your own home, and obtaining assets and equity.
"My mother has owned every house she's ever lived in. She instilled that drive in me and now, I strive to help others achieve that same goal." It is such a major, yet personal process when handling such an important step in someone's life. Which is why she believes that everyone deserves a smooth, worry-free experience when embarking on that journey.
Her drive to nurture, educate and create new home owners has lead her to find new ways to reach those in need of real estate guidance.
While assisting buyers and sellers, Tamara is also the advisor, realtor, and board member of a nonprofit organization designed to provide housing for low income families. She is also the creator of Hyrise, a homebuying app used to help those become qualified to purchase.
Her goal is for all who she crosses paths with to walk away, not only happy with this experience, but more knowledgeable then before. Tamara puts a huge priority on her clients' wants and needs to ensure that they are confident in their choice of having her as their agent
